I am withholding my judgement for tonight. I want to digest things before I really say much, but I know others are not so patient. Here is an approval poll.

As bad of a coaching job he and the staff did today, I still think that he should be given another season to see if his recruiting can pay off in the depth department and on the field.

I originally stated that he should be given at least 4 years when he first got here. After today, I say fire him if he doesn't win at least 8 or 9 games next season.

Should be given one more season. That said, if SIGNIFICANT improvement isn't made, clean house.

with all these terrible assistants we still have a few i don't want to get rid of if we were to do a clean sweep. I wouldn't want Wilcox and Sirmon to go, those are my favorite 2 on the staff.

Based on the question "Do you think Dooley is doing an adequate job" I don't understand how anyone can vote yes.

Agree 100%.

I understand that this program cannot afford a coaching change at the present, but it should be obvious that Dooley is a less-than-average coach.

Seems like a pretty good recruiter, though, so hopefully he will have the pantry stocked reasonably for the next guy.

He lost this team. NEVER in my years have I seen a team get worse as the year went on .... We lost to a crapy KY team with no QB ... He should of be canned on the sideline

voted no, not necessarily a fire him now vote - just a no way in &($W you can lose to this bad of a KY team and get a yes vote on doing an adequate job - vandy in OT and a loss to KY, no bowl game and a losing season doesnt add up to a yes vote for me

Dooley will get next season. I would think he may examine his assistants. Wonder what advice Vince would give him?

This was Matt Simms game to play. He should have been in after halftime. Then when Tyler get his first series with rythum....we go with Rajion in the "predictable" package where we can't pass.???

You know what is funny, I voted Anti Dooley a few weeks and all these people were for Dooley still. Again I say cut your lose, go on and get somebody else. Hart is capable.

I'll prob. regret it b/c my heart tells me we should fire him this year, but I still think everything will be made absolutely clear after next season.

Anything less than 8 wins and being competitive in EVERY single game will be unacceptable. And one of those 8 wins BETTER be UK. Freakin' no excuse for tonight's loss.

If there's coordinator changes.....let's get some coordinators that can also coach a position like many teams to free up two coaching spots so we can have a running backs coach. We're trying to figure out the running game...why not start with a running backs coach?

No real leadership on the team either. Like 11 plastic football players moving around on a vibrating metal field.

Nope. I need to see at least 9 wins next year for any sort of justification to keep him around for 2013.

Went from being uncertain to a big no, but you damn sure better get a great coach if you even think of getting rid of him. So he is here until at least the end of 2012....never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would see TN lose to Kentucky....absolutely sickening.

At least one more year. This is the first game that he has lost that I don't think he was supposed to lose.

I don't think anyone can say KY has more tallent, especially considering that they had a WR starting at QB.

I have to say my confidence in him took a hit today and I think that a new OC might be in order, but you have to give him one more year just to be fair.

Its not about being fair its about where this team is headed and from what I saw today its headed for the bottom of the SEC for a long time.
