Just for my information, can anyone of you tell me how many Pro (NFL) Coaches are now coaching in College and how well they have done, how long they have stayed. Of course, I know about Spurrier.

I know I could look all this up, however I keep hearing Kiffin this, Kiffin that. Some of you are sure to be able to tell me what is what. What is the story?

- Nick Saban - Currently #1 in the country
- Pete Carroll - I hear his teams have done okay...the rare example of success at both levels (although his success in New England was rather mild)
- Rich Brooks - He's made Kentucky mildly respectable...but that's kinda like polishing a turd.
- Steve Spurrier - Never actually heard of this one...
- Bobby Petrino - still out on him, I don't like him though.
- Butch Davis - I think we all know plenty about him now.
- Al Groh - quite possibly the worst coach in all of football...
- Mike Sherman - can't judge too harshly on the first season after taking over from Franchione
- Dave Wannstedt - #21 team in the country. Not too shabby.
- June Jones - got Hawaii to the Sugar Bowl last year...but SMU hasn't been pretty
- Dennis Erickson - not much integrity...still a decent coach...aside from killing the Niners
- Mike Riley - Oregon State is 23rd in the AP
- Howard Schnellenberger - Nat'l champ in 83...25 years later at Florida Atlantic...of course, when he coached the Colts he was having to deal with the recent loss of Johnny U...so he may not really count...
