NFC:
Drew Brees
Marc Bulger
Tony Romo

AFC:
Peyton Manning
Carson Palmer
Philip Rivers

I don't know about this. No Brett Favre or Tom Brady? And yet, Romo and Rivers get in? I don't know about the stats of all these guys, but it seems to me that the Chargers offense was clearly led by LT and that Romo has only played half a season. Romo looked great early, but he's had a couple of off games. Considering he's only played 8 games, I just don't see how you can say he's one of the top 3 QBs in his conference.

in the NFC, there isn't but two guys that have played worth a darn all year...bulger and brees. Everyone else, including Romo, has been very average or limited by amount of playing time. He's a trendy pick, that's it.

in the AFC, no problems with any of it. Rivers has played very well, regardless of Tomlinson. I know while i was watching the Steelers/Chargers game, he impressed the heck out of me for this being basically his rookie year.

hard to argue about Manning and Palmer. Brady is still good, but he's had 3 horrible games where he got sacked a lot and turned the ball over...including the one against the Colts and Jets that were just stinkers.

no real issue with it all.

I don't like Romo, and I'm trying to find another NFC QB who is more worthy than him to go to the Pro Bowl. The only QB's even worth mentioning include Mike Vick, Eli Manning, and Rex Grossman. Despite playing only 8 games, Romo is probably the 3rd-most deserving QB in the NFC.

In the AFC, Brady is the only other QB with an arguement against Rivers.

Someone on ESPN was making the argument that Romo should've made the Pro Bowl based solely on the fact the Cowboys' season turned around once he was named the starter.

If that is a qualification, I want Vince Young in Hawaii.

That caused me to think....why is trhere not a pro team in Hawaii? I guess maybe cause of the long flights?

Probably... maybe an attendance issue? How many of those crazy islanders would show up? How is attendance for the University of Hawaii football games?

I don't think Romo should have made since he's only played 8 games but I also don't think Farve or Brady should have either. Brady has at least 3 awful games and Farve has 15 INT's. No doubt Peyton, Brees and Palmer deserve. After that it's questionable.....no Grossman??? :)

I can see your argument about Brady and Romo getting in, but Favre is washed up and needs to retire before he embarasses himself.

He is still better than 75% of NFL quarterbacks. If he were not playing for such a pathetic excuse for a team, he would easily have made the Pro Bowl.

Looks like Jeff Garcia should be heading to Hawaii if we use the same criteria that got Romo into the Pro Bowl.

That's still a joke, it's just for a different reason that it's funny.

True. In any other year, Romo probably shouldn't sniff the Pro Bowl. It's just a bad, bad QB season in the NFC.

In fact, if McNabb and Hasselback played an entire season, Romo would be 5th or 6th on the list.
