This here little ol thread is about some material possession (No people) that you value highly. If you have a couple, the limit, I guess, could be THREE.

This is to be a fun thread, not a deeply philosophical thread.

Pick a couple of neat things you have, and tell us...

I have a baseball autographed to me from Mickey Mantle, one of the John Ward & Bill Anderson curved glass memorabilia pieces in honor of their retirement, and a cracked University of Tenness baseball bat I used in the Fall of my Freshman year when I tried out for the baseball team.

I was baptized in the same church that held Mickey Mantle's funeral procession... Just some trivia.

My most prized possesions are...

A stopwatch I got from my grandpa, c. 1914

My electric guitar. Samick SL-3

My mom's Nissan 350Z Roadster which will some day be mine. It's outfited with a new cold air intake, exhaust manifold, muffler, and 19" chrome rims for looks.

I've got 2 young boys all my prized possessions have been broken, spit up on, lost or otherwise mangled

My husband and daughter are my only "prized" possessions. I have a lot of neat toys, but it's all just "stuff".

Now LiO, you read the rules...we all have "PRECIOUS" people in our lives, but somewhere back there in the bedroom, or den, or in the basement, you have some really neat momento or piece of memorabilia that you are glad you have.

I have a combat knife taken from a german bunker at Normandy beach, and my uncles medals from Vietnam, posthumous...silver star, bronze star, purple heart

I have a Jay Barker autographed picture collecting dust somewhere in my room. :dlol: He turned out great :blink: Oh by the way I was just sharing it is NOT one of my prized possesions.

My 1998 national championship UT penant......If my house were to start burning down I'd take that and grab it before I would anything else LOL

I do have a six-pack of cokes with bottles that have UT labels from the '98 season. My husband bought them for me after we won. I wouldn't exactly say they're prized, but they are kinda special and neat.

Hmmmm. . . . . I'd say my Taylor 614, my orange-felt pool table and framed front page of the KNS from the '98 Fiesta Bowl, and my wedding ring.

I also have a pilsner glass with a football in the stem that was from a set of two that my best friend and I bought just before the '98 season. We only used them while watching the UT games that year, and we had them engraved after the Fiesta win. Each have been "officially retired" until we win another one.
