IMO Petty can kick rocks. It was awesome. I'll bet George Harrison would've approved! I'd say if Petty was mad it was probably because the performance upstaged HIM, not George.

I saw Eric Clapton’s version playing alongside George’s son and Paul McCartney and that made me appreciate the original at another level. Especially with the perspective of the story between Eric and George.
