Price interview with Heupel this morning

The beginning of this interview reminded me we didn't (or I didn't) see the dodgeball, etc from last year. Heupel was unconventional last year, when he needed to establish a cohesive, trusting unit in the building. This year ..... business.

I like this guy. He may or may not be a great coach but I'm certain he is developing what he wants. Also, as an old guy, his respect for and tribute to his Dad is as classy as it gets.

I had to talk myself into liking the previous coaches. Make excuses for the inarticulate, the name dropping, the britches and all of their bull$hit. That’s not an issue w/ Heupel. He’s genuine, he’s smart, he works hard and he has a vision for our program. It may work, it may not, but he’s been the unexpected perfect fit given the circumstances that the other idiots left behind.

I’m still a fan of the orange britches though.

I loved Dooley's wit, but he could turn negative really quick.

Heupel does a great job at keeping positive in how he delivers opinions about his coaches and players.

I hated the day they hired Dooley. I knew he got the job solely on his last name. Then he comes in and lets everyone know he was the smartest guy in the room. Sorry, I had to get that off my chest.

Maybe he was the smartest. He still couldn't recruit for crap, and absolutely could not form a cohesive vision.

But you're right....he was a prick. That had no roon to be Haha

Really? I’ve never seen a bad Josh Heupel interview. All the ones I’ve seen have been pretty good.
I must have missed a bad one.

It is absolutely critical that you review the interview and notate discrepancies as we move forward in our progress. Keep those discrepancies in your back pocket for future use against nay-sayers.

So close but no cigar...until you go to Alabummer as the 15th man on the totem poll.

If austin bothers a person so much, maybe you can spend the next 30 years listening to an interview with Jimmy "Hymens".
