They played prevent on two plays then realized it was gonna lose them the game. That's a good sign, Chavez would have rode it to defeat!!!!

I am not 100% for sure but that was a player screw up

I do want to clarify that prevent defense is fine when used properly and situationally. Such as on the final couple plays of a game when the opposing offense has a big distance to try and close and needs a touchdown.

But not when you are up 13 with 6 minutes left...Holy Macaroni. That’s not the time.
