I know...I know. The staff knows more than we do...yada, yada, yada (they obviously knew more when they ran off T. Boyd, and chose Matt Simms over Cam Newton). I know not all 5*s pan out, and that sometimes 3*'s do, but the law of averages conclusively demonstrate, that when you put a roster of 2-3*s against a roster full of 4-5*'s, then the former will lose 99 times out of 100.

With that being the case, I thought our recruiting standards had dropped considerably before Dooley started losing this year, and now with Cincinnati's staff being transplanted, it seems they've brought their usual standards in recruiting with them.

I'm trying to have a positive outlook on this, but every time I look at who we've offered, the only 4-5 stars are guys we already had some inroads with. I know CBJ must be looking at this realistically, but damn, Dooley had about a week to salvage our class, and still managed to pull in a few big fish (D. Rodgers and Hunter). It's pretty depressing to see all these new 3* star offers, out of nowhere.

If we do pull in any 4-5* guys, it will only be those that Thigpen or Martinez had been courting at Auburn. I'm hoping they do, but what does that say about all the staff from Cincinnati? It's says we have a longer road to recovering than I ever imagined.

Hey, I know lets hire you to coach the Big Orange. I bet you have worn tennis shoes before and know more than anyone else......Al Wilson was a 3 star when he signed with UT......I remember some DA posting back then wondering why We recruited him.......Glad my life is not so boring that all I have to do is question coaching moves.....

During the dead period the coaches can only call the prospects on the phone once a week. Which means the only new offers you'll see are guys they are already working on, most from their previous jobs. You don't want to try to restart a relationship with a blue chip with one phone call, you want to see them face to face. You just watch, toward the end of next week, you'll see a number of blue chips getting visits from our staff.

Cam is a pro style QB who can run when the play breaks down. That's what he was before Kiffin and Chaney looked at him and they chose instead to polish a turd instead of a Heisman trophy.

Incase you missed it Dooley wasn't knocking it out with this class, plus Tn is coming off a 5-7 season.Dooley had offered 2* kids. It does not matter who gets these 4 or 5* kids here as long as they get them. That's what they were hired to do along with coaching.

They just got here. Did you really expect them to have a top ten class already?
No, but that's not the point here. The point is, you aim low, you hit low. All the offers to this point have been mostly (3*) players they were recruiting at Cincinati.

I didn't say this class is already a flop, but a lot of you scoffers can't tell me you don't feel a little disappointed every time you see another 3* player you never heard of...being offered.

It's best to keep your mouth shut and let people think you're dumb than to open it and remove all doubt. You clearly have no idea what you are talking about so why don't you just simmer down.
