Pretty cool Marshall wearing power T shirt

I’d love more than anything for Peyton’s son to go here, but I’m sure he’s going to take Archie’s approach when it comes to letting him make his own decisions. Now Archie did look like someone had shot his dog during that commitment press conference, but I still think Marshall will have options.
Yeah I'd want to go to another school and not live in the shadow of dad.

Just don't go to Bama

Let’s say hypothetically he came here.Would Heup be ok with him attending the Manning Passing academy?
Heupel would not have him working on improviing his skills when he is not around? Not to offend, but that is a really dumb question.

It's a long time, in coaching years, until Marshall Manning is choosing a school.

Sark could hit the NFL, Josh could move on or be moved on, Kiffin could jump to Bama, etc, etc.

If the UT coaching spot isn't stable, I'd be doubtful he comes to Knoxville. Those saying "Josh is our Richt" who we'll need to replace about the time Marshall is looking for a college, need to realize it's doubtful he chooses UT with a new coach, staff, offense, etc.

Nor would Marshall likely want to come in and start before he's ready, as we saw with Eli and Arch.

It might be 2032 before Marshall Manning starts anywhere and that's a long, long time away in college football.

Peyton is curse i swear we always lose when he attends a game.
No “we” don’t. Stop showing your ignorance. He’s been there for some huge wins. He stuck with the Vols and went to games when Tennessee had no chance in hell of winning & some thought it was him. No, Tennessee sucked much of the time after he left.

I wonder if Archie took Peyton to Ole Miss games at that age?

Hanging out on campus with Peyton might have the opposite effect to what we'd want. Lots of continuous pressure to fill big shoes.
Good point. Peyton won’t pressure his son to go anywhere. Marshall is growing up in Chattanooga tho so hopefully that helps our cause

In 3 years you will be.
Bet I won’t. I don’t get hyped about a player until I see him do something at this level. When I was younger, I would. I’ve seen too many players not live up to hype. Also, how do you know? He hasn't played high school ball yet.

I'd have preferred Nashville, Brentwood Academy, which is also a football school but further from Athens and Tuscaloosa. Closer to Vandy and UK, I guess, but they're Vandy and UK so no real threat.

I think it's very likely Marshall moved from CO because he wants to land in the SEC and look over the SEC easily while in HS.

It would just be dang hard to be named Manning and play QB at UT or Ole Miss, IMO. I'd love to see him in Knoxville if he turns out to be closer to Arch and Archie than to Peyton and Eli. Heupel's offense needs a guy with legs.

Im not gonna be excited about an 8th grader who I’ve never seen play football because of his last name.
you don't think that Peyton Manning's son won't, at the very minimum have good mechanics and a fundamental understanding of how to be a pro QB?

he's in QB 101 school at baylor

Said 8th grader is good enough to possibly be starting at The Baylor School in Chatt as a freshman. Definitely will be his 10th grade year.

He may. He may not. Joe Montana’s sons didn't exactly light it up. There is no guarantee Hes going to be great, but you all can drool over a 14 year old all you want.

A lot can happen between then and college including growth issues like his uncle Cooper whose spinal stenosis didn't appear until college, I believe. He's ridiculously young to be facing "The Manning future" crap.

But I'll bet his HS NIL value is going to be millions, so good for him I suppose.

Yeah. He don't look bad at all so far for an 8th grader. Long way to go though.

I'm pretty sure those losses were due to poor coaching and recruiting, except 15 and 16. Those losses were on coaching.
