Another example of how our last staff turned A+ ability into C- performance. For other examples just watch any NFL preseason game where former Vols are killing it.

And it matters because... there is still plenty of A+ ability on the roster and with with this new staff wgwtfa

Our staff did nothing to turn him into the spoiled prima donna he was. He did it to himself and he's the one that quit

The only reason question Williams is having success now is because he was forced to humble himself after leaving Tennessee and finding CSU was the only place that would take him. His talent was never in doubt, but he had to make changes with himself, not anything any coaching staff did or didn’t do.

Doesn't matter. Preston has all the tools to be an NFL receiver someday.....and he will be. We knew that when he was here. Sucks how things worked out. Imagine him, Calloway and Jennings on the field at the same time.

I’m so sure about that. They called him Phillip when he would make a mistake. That’s junk. He could have worked thru that, but with all that’s coming out about the prior coaching staff, I find it hard to call him a quitter.

He left a bad situation. I would call him a leaver.

We certainly see why Butch is an intern right now instead of a assistant coach some where.

Sumlin got fired, and immediately got another P5 HC job.
Charlie strong got fired, and immediately got another HC job.
Lane Kiffin got fired, and immediately got another HC job.

Butch Jones and Derek Dooley got fired and got relegated to water boy status.

Make of that what you will.

Difference being of course that most of the players on this roster were recruited by Jones... and of course that Kiffin didn't produce UT's first 8 loss season or a winless SEC season. That kind of makes his inability to coach and develop players relevant.

Deer, very off topic from what you guys are talking about. However, since it is game week thought it made sense to ask.

Any word on if the players will be wearing a sticker on their helmet to honor John Ward. I know you said before it was a possibility. Just wondering if it was actually going to happen.
