And how would Kim Caldwell do if she had to recruit them in high school and have the majority for 4 years? Mickey DeMoss got a lot of credit for getting the girls that Pat needed to get over the hump. Deservedly so. Caldwell needs a right hand man like Pat had imo.

This is what happens when you extend a contract for making the sweet 16 in year 1. No coach should be given an extension until at least 3 years in. I have never seen everyone but one player transfer at the end of a season. If DW were to make a change, this would certainly be the time to do it.
After hearing Kim say that she thinks its because she moved away from her system is the reason for the meltdown tells you all you need to know.
I hope that he is simply waiting until the end of the tournament to make a change and has been working behind the scenes to secure a big fish. But I am definitely not holding my breath.

Personally, wish we'd incorporate double-teaming the inbounder into our press. It's the only time in our defense that the opponent cannot just dribble around, has to pass, and is limited in where they can pass. Considering we want to do double-teams generally, it's surprising to me that we don't do it more at this particular vulnerable moment for the opponent's offense. I'm probably missing something, tho.
