7 teams that are on the Vols' schedule this year are on the list (including "others receiving votes")--and all are ranked ahead of Tennessee.

To be fair, Missouri's just tied; ties are just listed in alphabetical order it looks

if nd never won another game, they'd still be ranked in the pre season top 25.

It's really mind blowing to me watching the UT vs Cinci game last year, that they are ranked ahead of us. I know they had a much better year afterwards... But fully healthy this year given what they lost and we didn't... We would win that game by 30.

Glad USC is not #1. Last time a season started--'07--where it was supposed to be a forgone conclusion of LSU and USC in the title, it didn't work out too well.

I remember the days when I would check the updated polls every monday to see where UT was at. The last 3-4 years or so there has been no reason to even bother looking at the polls. I think this year that will change. I think UT will crack the top 25 sooner rather than later and end the season in the top 25.
