I like flying under the radar, but maybe not this far under.

Hopefully this will be a chip on the shoulder of the offense this year which is the main reason while we’re so low.

They are unproven but talented and need to prove they’ve got what it takes so I’m hoping they play like they’ve been disrespected.

Do people really think losing Nico is that big of a deal? I for one do not see it at all. How quickly do people forget that the defense carried this team last year? Dylan Sampson was literally all we had on offense and I think we have two fully capable running backs this year. I honestly think both sides of the ball will be better this year and our schedule is favorable. Hell, if our QB can complete a pass 15+ yards downfield we will be light years better on offense

It’s not Nico. It’s Sampson, our 3 best receivers, 4 O Linemen, our 3 best D Linemen and some depth pieces, our best linebacker, our best safety. Oh and two of our best returning starters have been hurt all offseason, one with a torn ACL.

I sure hope we “over-achieve this year based on what we’re projected to be. It’s always sweeter when we end up ahead of a lot of the teams projected in front of us now. Plus, we have a history of doing well when we’re not respected at the beginning of the year.

Schedule isn’t too hard, but we are worse than last year, and the home-road splits are less in our favor. 6-2 in the SEC last year could easily be 4-4 this year.
Last year's road games were Georgia, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Vandy. This year's road games are Bama, Florida, Kentucky and Miss. St. There's not much difference from an overall standpoint. Unless you expect us to lose to either Kentucky or Miss. St., then Georgia and one of Oklahoma, Arkansas or Vandy would have to beat us in Neyland for us to finish 4-4.

If every SEC team only loses to those placed ahead of them and beats the teams placed below them, this is what the final standings would look like:
Texas 8-0
Georgia 7-1
Alabama 7-1
LSU 7-1
South Carolina 6-2
Florida- 5-3
Ole Miss- 4-4
Texas A&M- 4-4
Tennessee- 5-3
Oklahoma- 2-6
Auburn- 4-4
Missouri- 3-5
Vandy- 2-6
Arkansas- 1-7
Kentucky- 0-8
Miss. St.- 0-8
