Prediction: Eric Berry leaves for NFL after next season

It could depend on a lot of things, but I would say that next season is going to be Eric's last. He will be a Top 10 pick more than likely, and if not there he won't fall out of the Top 20.

Unless the HC really has something looking good for his senior year, there is no reason to think he would hang around unless he wants to finish his degree before going on to the NFL.

I have a relative who sees Eric almost weekly in an academic/advisement sense at the school...He is NOT the normal scholar athlete..She says he is driven to go to Dental school, and as a side light play football..According to what I hear, there is a 75% chance he graduates in the spring of 2010..and a better than even chance that he stays..according to how much of his Professional coursework he can get before his "senior" year in football terms...I cant guarantee it, but Id peg it at a 2/3 likelyhood he stays as of right now...NFL and Summer work in school is his ultimate goal

everyone keeps saying that but I don't remember seeing his name on the honor roll for football players. Maybe I'm wrong but one would need a pretty good gpa for dental school.

Can't blame him one bit if he goes he is a lock as a high 1st round pick. Maybe a 1 or 2 pick.

then I would ask that horse how many guys get into dental school with sub-3.0 gpa's. I'm as big a fan of EB as anyone but the facts just don't back up your statement. I would love to see Dr. Berry but I'm guessing his future will be playing on Sunday. Not a bad trade though

I'd say he will have no problem getting into Tennessee's dental school.

I have a 2.75 because well you know I was busy being a 4-year All American. :)

I'm not doubting him. I personally know friends from UT that got into dental school that I wouldn't let look at my dog's teeth so it can happen.

Dental School? I know Eric is a good kid and seems the type that could do whatever he wants. NFL is most likely (I wish we get him for 4 years, but I personally doubt it).

If he does go to dental school, he will have created plenty of clients that will need new teeth.

Whatever he does, there will be opportunities for Mr. Berry. After so many of our players in recent years have been in trouble for this and that, it is truly a breath of fresh air to have a super star athlete so well rounded.

EB is the man and will be missed.
I hope he ends up in the NFL because it is so much fun to watch him. Would be a shame to see him as a dentist...but hey wait 10 years for that EB and crush some wr's in the nfl.

He can attend dental school during off-seasons. I think he can get into whatever dental school he wants by just putting "X NCAA record-holder" in his resume.
