this is way to early to tell.. but just have some fun trying to project the stats for each Basketball player this year(per game)..

1) Ramar Smith: 14 pts, 5.5 assist
2) Chris Lofton: 17 points, 3 assist
3) Jujuan Smith: 10 points, 2.5 assist
4) Tyler Smith: 14 points, 6.5 reb..
5) Wayne Chism: 11.5 points, 7.5 reb.

backups
1) Jordan Howell: 2 points, 1 assist
2) Josh Tabb: 3.5 points
3) Cameron Tatum: 5 points
4) Duke Crews: 7 points, 6 reb..
5) Ryan Childress: 4 points, 5 reb.

J.P. Prince will replace Josh Tabb when January arrives, and he will average around 5 points..

so all in all, im predicting UT to average around 90 points a game.. that's alot i kno, but this will be the most offense explosive team this year in college basketball..

Look for Tyler Smith to be more of a beast with assist and Jajuan with a bit less - he was probably the best big man when it came to assists last year 1st or 2nd on team as a freshman.

Actaully those numbers look pretty good. Hopefully Duke can get some better numbers, but I agree with pretty much everything.

I see Childress averaging more. He was shooting the ball as good as anyone at the end of the season with the exception being Lofton.

Lofton will most likely average less this year in my opinion - just too many scorers and so many people playing - his minutes may go down a bit although I'd like to see him play a few more minutes just so he can raise his hype for player of the year and raise his draft stock..

But that's the way it most likely will be - Bruce will want to sub constantly this year and press more and wear teams down which leads to less points for Lofton.

After thinking about it, I could care less what the stats are. I just want us to score more points than the other team. That is the only stat I care about.

Those stats look pretty good. I'd swap Ramar and JaJuan's ppg total, though and add one more assist per game for Ramar.

I don't know if CL will score less or not. I do think he will have less opportunities to score this year, but there is no way that defenses will put 2 men on him either like they did last year. So he whould hit more if that's possible. He drove to the basket alot last year, he might not do that as often since we have Tyler and Ramar that can drive to the hole and then dish off if needed. I do think Cameron T. could possibly redshirt. Why play him? We definitely won't need him this year. We get J.P. in January. There's really nothing he can add to this team right now. Why waste a whole year for 3 minutes of mop up duty a game.

Agreed, I will be kind of concerned if Lofton averages more than 17-18 a game because that will mean someone else is struggling.

once J.P gets back in January.. It wont be Tatum's minutes going down.. it will most likely be Josh Tabb n Jujuan Smith.. Tatum will be the backup 2.. while Prince could start at the 3 right away.. so tabb will get the mopp up duty while Jujuan might lose his starting spot..

J. Smith is not going to lose his starting spot to J.P. Prince.

By the end of the season he could.. J.P. and Tyler smith dominated that summer league camp..

I watched them play. I don't think there is any question that Tyler starts but I would be shocked if J. Smith doesn't start every game.

Jajaun is too good on defense to not start him - plus he's a senior... not that the #3 starter and #3 backup will really get much more or less playing time than the other with all the subbing this year. Which brings it to a matter or seniority and leadership where Jajaun will have the edge.

I agree, I think both will play a good bit.
