Tedford said his familiarity with Tennessee's defense helped him with his play-calling, as Cal converted on six of 13 third-down opportunities.

"Last year they had some wrinkles, and it was the first time we'd seen it,'' said Tedford, who didn't call Cal's plays last season. "After playing them once, it was easier.''

If a Pac 10 coach says it was easier after playin once and findin out the play callin, i wonder wat SEC can do after seein us for so many years... Its becomin too easy for em to know what we do....

If that is true as stated...then that is a problem. But at this point in my life....I take coaches at much less than face value.

Its the truth. Everyone knows chavis does the same damn thing in every situation. He rolls over into zone EVERY 3rd down and tries to blitz. Leaving huge holes for easy first downs. Go watch any taped game you have its obvious, the reason we have never been good on 3rd down stops.

He doesnt have the balls to run man on 3rd. and change his play calling.
