I’m 41 since I turned 25 in 2004 I’ve seen just two wins over those jokers my 7 year old son has seen just one and zero over Bama. I’m sure we will beat them again but it won’t be with Coach Cornbread

I think honestly UGA is in a worse spot than Tennessee is in. Hear me out:

Smart will never win an SECCG or National Title there. He's also been way to successful for them to fire. So they're stuck in the same spiral of "great to good to average" with him like they were with Richt until eventually they fire him for going 7-5. Elite talent, what he needed to be at the top flight, will be harder to get if that talent knows they won't win big there.

Tennessee at least will have the chance to move on in the next couple of years. It probably won't be Freeze or Campbell or anyone capable, but at least we have the hope of change.

Maybe this is just my weird way of coping with the continued trauma that is Tennessee football.

1. Smart has already won the SEC

2. I think the SEC will change and be a lot more entertaining when Saban leaves Bama. I wasn't alive for Bear Bryant, but you have to have a team as good as LSU's last year to win and that's insane. You can't have any flaws at all. When Saban is gone, I see it as being a year to year free for all for a bunch of schools, Georgia being one of them.

2021 isn’t happening. 2022 would be a new coach most likely, and probably an even worse loss due to transition. 2023 feels unlikely considering Florida’s trajectory. Unless maybe Mullen leaves for the NFL?

I just realized this isn’t fun so I’m going to stop now.

2024 at the earliest.

2021 and 2023 are in Gainesville.

2022, Tennessee will have a 1st year coach

It 100% is, because in no way is UGA in a worse spot than us.
