Not knowing her condition at the time, I hope she was able to see Jarrett's amazing game against Mizzou. Jarrett's had a lot to contend with this football season. May God bless the family at this time of great loss.

Losing my MaMaw to brain cancer was about the hardest thing I have had to deal with. She lived with us while I was growing up and was like a mother to me. It’s been almost 40 years and it’s hard to keep from tearing up just writing this.
I know. Every time I think of my Grandmother (the closest one) I get sad. Then I think about all the good She did and I feel better and Blessed just for having her as my Grandma. .

I wonder if he knew her time was short at the Missouri game and that was why he was so emotional. I would guess for most of us, we don't realize the impact our grandparents have on us until later in life after they pass and we reminisce of our time with them. I know that is certainly my case. Prayers for the Guarantano family.
