Scott-to-Trott beat Florida like a drum 38-7 in 1970 in Doug Dickey's first year at Florida after leaving the Vols.

Prayers sent, hope he has a speedy recovery. I introduced myself to him at Pat O'Briens a night or two before the '86 Sugar Bowl. He was incredibly nice, invited me to sit down and bought me a hurricane.

Sorry if I'm mistaken.................

I watched Bobby Scott...................mainly because of our hometown hero Danny Jeffries, but it got me hooked on UT football. I'm not even sure who the QB was between Scott & Holloway.

Can someone enlighten me???

He was the 1st QB I ever remember watching play for UT.
The other team members I remember (sort of) were Kurt Watson, Bobby Majors, Jamie Rotella, Jackie Walker.........sorry but I didn't remember Tim Priest or Phillip Fulmer at that tender age.

I still LOVE me some UT FOOTBALL!!!

Thanks Bobby Scott & God Speed.

THANKS for the Memories!

Just saw him a week ago and didn't realize he was having health issues. Praying for a complete recovery.

Coach Dickey told me at church that leaving UT was the greatest mistake of his life.
Yup.
He'd just beaten Bear Bryant 3 times in a row.

Hyams just reported that Bobby Scott (the QB) had a heart attack Saturday night and surgery Sunday. Said his heart muscle was not damaged and his prognosis is good.
