went to game last night, and north gwinett's offensive and defensive lines completely dominated the game, the qb was starting his first game for NG and beat the #5 ranked team in the nation, North gwinett is definately underrated with that new qb, but prattville was overrated, their line was very small and that qb looks like he will be running for his life the hole season.
QB Sam Gibson (LSU), CB Nick Perry (UA)...and a lockdown Defense. They held Carver to 34 rushes -32 last week.
prattvillevol, who was #29,was that nick perry, #29 could lay the wood, had several hard hits.
If by "lockdown" you mean a secondary that takes piggy back rides on the other teams receivers as they break away from them and are about to catch pases, then yes, Prattville has one heck of a lockdown D.
Why disappear from the thread when you started it and they get beat?
Nick Perry is #15...29 was hammering! We had 24 kids out with the flu but take nothing away from NG. NG played a great game. Hopefully CLK will take a look at NG's QB, this kid is 6'5" and only 16 and moving like a pro.
Pville won 46 straight regular season games and 3, 6A state championships numbnuts...24 kids out with the flu playing a very polished NG team...What more can you ask???...Dummy!
The NG quarterback is CJ Uzomah. Great athlete, 6' 5". This is his first year at QB. He is a junior - he spent last year as backup and started some at WR. The Vols have already offered, along with UGA, LSU, CLemson and Bama, I believe. Probably being recruited as an athlete.
My 7th grader plays youth football for NG. We were at the game last night and NG basically won the game in the trenches. In particular, Prattville OL was no match for the NG D-line. Very entertaining game - Prattville travelled well.
PrattvilleVol - which 24 kids were out with the flu? They must have had 150 players dressed! I've never seen more kids on a sideline. How many students do they have?
