Who is Charles Mosley?.....

When is this kid gonna step up and quit taking space on the sidelines, managing the Gatorade? Glad to see Boulware stepping up and playing well last week.

Tennessee Practice Notes: 9-27-16 | Rocky Top Insider

After an explosive comeback on Saturday, Butch Jones is doing everything he can to make sure that this team stays hot heading into Athens on Saturday.

Josh Dobbs and Sheriron Jones were both evident leaders in terms of that fast-paced tempo.

Sheriron making his move on #2 spot.

Jones is #4 I don't ever see him getting meaningful playing time but do love his intensity..wish Dobb's had that kind of fire. It's exactly what you want from a QB.

Can't help but root for the kid. Hoping JG is everything he's suppose to be but if SJ has the edge I'll happily cheer for him.

It's weird, but I almost want to see SJ get a shot over Dormady if Jarett doesn't just breakout. Sheriron has just been such a vocal leader for this team and energized us in so many key situations. I was reading on twitter during the first half of the UF game that, once again, the whole sideline was quiet with the exception of Sheriron yelling at people and trying to hype up the team.

This isn't a knock on Dormady, maybe he is just biding his time, but I want my QB to be a vocal leader and take the reigns so to speak. Teams will play harder for that type of signal caller.

I think JG will be our starting QB next season but if not him it will be QD. Jones is 4th on the QB depth chart behind a guy they are redshirting. Not sure why Jones hasn't been talked about but doesn't sound like he will ever get much PT in Knoxville but it is easy to pull for him. Next year it will most likely be a QB/JG battle. Either way our pass game will be much better.

Being Vocal is great but if he can't produce on the field then it doesn't matter. Jones is a great kid to have in the locker room and sideline but there is a reason he is 4th on the depth chart behind a guy they are trying to redshirt.

I wouldn't buy to much in to what your saying considering the practice notes you just quoted to write this. Sounded like to me Sherion is getting #2 reps.

The kid loves Tennessee, but I would be willing to bet any amount, he is not getting #2 reps. QD is definitely #2 and barring injury, it will stay that way this year..

Is Kirkland good to go? what's his status?

He said that Butch is playing this out like Maggitts injury last year with the occasional tease that he might play soon.
But, this morning, Swain said he's hearing that the injury is worse than they want to let on.
Argh! I really wanted him back for Tamu & Bama.
