Evan Berry is at least running around in one of the videos. He's obviously not right yet, but he should be good to go by the fall.

Nope. Trey Smith will beat him out. Also, Trey Smith was the 1st player to have his black stripe removed. I didn't see that reported anywhere but I read it on twitter. Thanks.

Can't remember any thread where you and D4H both posted. Guess it's possible for a village to have TWO idiots. Thanks!

At this point if Richmond doesn't start it's a serious disappointment.

As highly as he was ranked coming out of high school and having everyone trying to sign him to play for them then not starting this year after a red shirt year seems to say he has a problem.

Either he's hurt a bit, he's lazy and dogging it, he's a really slow learner or his feet and speed are just slow but something seems wrong.

Maybe coming out of HS he was just badly over rated by playing against bad competition.

I'd sure like to hear some real info from one of our insiders on what's holding Richmond back.

I was hoping this season would be his breakout year where he became a mauler for us.

Anyone with any serious info on him please?

VFL...GBO!!!

Our lack of depth at Running Back concerns me this season. Kelly is good, and hopefully CFA and Chandler pan out, but what do we have beyond that? Particularly concerning given that we're a run-heavy offense. Seems like every season, there's one position group that we have to pray we don't have any key injuries, and then we always have key injuries (last year it was LBs, in 2014 it was O-line).

On the other hand, we're finally loaded at O-line!

As is the case with 99% of the teams in the country. Alabama and Ohio State seem to be the only teams in the country with impenetrable depth.

In a worst case scenario i firmly believe Evan Berry would be moved to RB if need be.

Me too. I mean wow this is Tennessee, and we have a couple semi healthy scholarship RBs! Yet another reason butch makes me wonder about him being in way over his head at UT, and he is not recruiting at the elite level we need. It's been know for a couple years now that there was a pretty good chance that Kamara and Hurd would not be around their senior years. He has failed in recruiting more quality options at RB.
