Practice - Aug 22 - Location?

I've read on another thread that the upcoming scrimmage on Saturday, Aug 22 will be in the stadium and open to the pubic. Does anyone know if this is true? I'd like to know for sure before I drive a couple of hours to attend. But, if it is true....anyone know what time it will begin?

"Head coach Lane Kiffin wants to add a touch of the home game atmosphere to his team's final preseason scrimmage by inviting all UT students to attend. Gates 1, 2 and 3 will open at 12:00 p.m. The scrimmage begins at 12:21 p.m."

sorry to ask in here but im new and i dont know what im doing! where can i find or how can i find other fans going to the TN ole miss game? thanks

You can search to see if there is a thread already about this. Your best bet is to just start one. You may get some answers and if there is a thread like it, then it will be merged and then you still get your answer. Hope this helps.

It is at 12:21 just like the western game. I would be there but I cant do 2 weekends of hungover football. and my old ass cant handle being drunk by 9 am back to back weekends

hmmm......the article only mentions students attending the scrimmage tomorrow. Still not sure if us old farts can get in or not.

I would make absolutely sure......somewhere I read that it was for students only, and they had to show their student ID's at the gate. Would hate for someone to drive that far and not get in!

What about the weather? The scrimmage is supposed to be simulating a game day so I assume they will be playing rain or shine?

Look. The past two srimmages and the practices have been open to the public. Just g on the gate that is open. I went last week when you had to be on a list. Nobody stopped me, just walked in.

Ummm...we don't play western next weekend. Unless you just want to be hammered at 9am next weekend to mow the lawn or whatever.
