"Easy to make" Tess would take you to the woodshed in a shooting contest
Doubtful when I was younger, but that wasn’t the point. Ask Tess if she is more confident making unguarded shots, as opposed to guarded shots, I think she will agree with what I said. 🙂

The change I would like to see with our offense is to have the 3 point shooters move and and work to open up a shot. The stationary position and waiting for someone to leave you open doesn't seem to work against the better teams.

Enters Destinee Wells and Jewel Spear you will like how they move off the ball and get their shots !

Teams in the past had to guard Tess more than anyone else. Now they will have to guard Jewell, Destinee, Ace, Tess, and certainly a possibility Sarah and even Rickea as both of them could be better at the three point line. Then there is Karoline who is at least a 30 percent shooter from out there.

Goodness gracious I hope our offense is revamped just a little to take advantage of all of these shooters! Kellie has a very dynamic roster this year!

Agreed! I think an increase in overall tempo would help with that! I remember those 2007/2008 UNC teams Hatchell wanted her teams averaging like 80-90 shots a game lol now while that resulted in more turnovers their overall play evened out and they were very successful

So would you rather her miss open threes during practice sessions? No offense, but this post is really dumb.
What is wrong with you people? She certainly should make an open 3, which it was, so why make a big deal of it. Off season apparently brings out the argumentative side of several people here, Can’t wait till the season starts!

Anyone who begins a post with "no offense" knows exactly what they are doing but yeah, we are the problem....

The Most dangerous 3 point shooter is the one that is spotting up on the fast break. Defenses are taught to run to the paint. This allows for more wide-open 3-point shots. Go back to last year's game against Alabama in Thompson Boiling. Tess drained 4-5 3s that game and we seen them coming off the rebound and fast break.

Yep, Karoline was 38.7% from 3 last year on relatively low volume (12 for 31).
