Potential XFL revival

The 2 hour time window is a huge selling point.

*Eliminate instant replay
*Running clock on out of bounds and incomplete passes until final 2 minutes.
*Make every PAT a 2 point attempt.
*Cut halftime to 10 minutes and don't leave the bench area.
*mic up all coaches so sideline reporter can hear them.

Vince isn't stupid he sees the ratings of the NFL going down the drain and how they have treated the Military & Law Enforcement. He also knows who the WWE fanbase is and most are Flag waving folks. Vince is also big buddies with WWE HOF President Trump!

I'm a MAGA person!

Lol...I'm not sure you could squeeze anymore hyperbole into your post.

“It would be really smart for McMahon to put teams in cities that don’t have NFL franchises like St. Louis, San Diego, Portland, Austin, Cleveland and Orlando.”

With the concussion issues Vince’s primary business is having, he’s not going to be lax at all in any area where concussion concerns exist. And it’s the right thing to do anyway.

Add Cincinnati to that list please. XFL probably be a better product here no matter how flat on it's face it falls.

Yep; anyone thinking he's going to let it go back to headhunting days is in for major disappointment.

Plus this is all setting up exactly like in 1999. Then he said the NFL was getting too pansy, was going to bring back "smashmouth football", and in 1999 the WWE was red hot and actually challenging the NFL's ratings. And that all worked out great.

People have this idea that you simply can’t get enough football. And they’re wrong. If I were McMahon, my season would run April-June. Starting it in January would be tough because then they’re starting out against both the college and NFL postseasons. Let the rush of the playoffs die down before starting up.

But, as for why I quoted you, the initial plan for the XFL to be successful has to be as a supplement to the NFL, not as a replacement.

I can't speak for everyone, but there's no such thing as too much football for me.

With that being said, I think you have the right time frame as far as when the season should take place.

I personally like the scrum for the football race instead of coin toss personally. Silly but I did like it.
