Potential replacements for Dooley

Who would we go after? I know the last 2 searches we continued to hear lovie smith and John gruden to no avail. Who would be a more realistic option. I wonder who coaches louisiana Monroe. The have certainly preformed above their talent level this year. I guess between now and the end of the year a lot can happen in terms of which coaches are hot. Hope we end up with better options than last time

My opinion (not a huge fb guy), I like Charlie strong. Alma mater wouldn't be a draw if they ever came calling so you don't have to worry about that...

Would be a good, and realistic candidate IMO.

I don't want Strong, he isn't much better than Dooley. A barely winning record at a mediocre Big East school, please. Shaw or no one, no coordinators or up and comers. Get a winner now and pay him what ever he wants, 5 or 6 mil a year.

I just can't imagine Gruden giving up $4M a year to take this job. If he wanted a job, he can have any NFL job he wants.

And I agree E. Hart should call Jon and say "Hey, Jon, this is Dave Hart. I want you to be the head coach at UT. Tell me how much you want, and the job is yours." Hell, he should call him until Gruden files a harassment suit against him...and then call his wife to get him to UT.
