Have always been able to count on the Lady Vols. Now they are only an average team, which is still better than mens BB and FB. Hard times on Ole Rocky Top.

It is almost sacrilegious to challenge a game plan here, but all this getting the ball inside is becoming futile....A lay up, in many cases, is too difficult for the post players to make... It is almost comical, but too painful to laugh at.

Tonight, the team took only eight 3 point shots, hitting 1....But they passed up several open looks to get the ball inside, which several times resulted in a turn over or another missed lay up....It appears they are afraid to shoot the 3, in fear of being pulled if they miss or whatever....The 3 ball is a valuable weapon that should be used, not chastised for trying...

SC shot 22 threes and hit 7 times....That was the big difference in the game...Every team knows we are going to go inside first....We are easy to defend with this inside game.

Go ahead and flame me, but there was a time Simmons and Strickland were shooting lights out with the 3 ball, but the powers that be, changed the attack to the post first...

There has to be a reason our guards never seem to improve. In fact a lot of the time they regress. This team has the horses to get it done, but the coaching by committee is not working. You have to have a leader. If you have three, you don't have one.

fyp

edit: Actually, you had it right. The double negative kinda threw me.

The guards seem to be on a flashing yellow light plan....If you miss, you get pulled or chastised ...Perhaps, they are a mental mess.

This program was built around the inside game with great post players....that works, but these are not great post players....far from it.
