Anybody read what Sampson said after the game? Gave us credit for being the tougher team but spent a lot of time whining about us shooting more free throws. Said that was the difference in the game. Couldn’t understand how it could be since they were continually driving the ball. Said we shot 29 and they shot 11 and it is “mind-boggling”.

Not really, considering how many more shots we took in the paint. And that they fouled us at end of game for 8-10 of those FTs.

I agree. It just seemed odd coming from him since he always seemed so old school, don’t blame the refs, and that sort of stuff. Barnes would never come out with those excuses, even when we could all see we got a bad whistle.
