There are a couple of Alabama staffers who wanted some face time during the Barnes post game presser.

Jahmai seems like a coaches dream type of glue guy who is smart, has an alpha personality but not in a confrontational way and is fully willing to do all the scrappy things that significantly less athletic guys usually do. Just an impressive person who is going to be very successful in life.

Vescovi has a similar personality and JJJ does as well.....he just seems to enjoy the attention a little more, nothing wrong with that.

Our roster is, and has been for years, full of classy guys who are quality people that are going to be successful men. They are extremely tough but disciplined and you typically don't see that across the board. Especially not in P5 teams that recruit at a consistently high level.

Pearl is a god example of this. Barnes recruits a different type of person than Bruce did at UT and does at Auburn. I'm not sure how much Bruce focuses on making them better men. I much prefer Barnes approach to Ramar Smith type guys any day (though Ramar and Tyler Smith were fun to watch).
