I can’t dwell on the Tony threads anymore, so new topic. I came to do a welfare check on our dudes at their scrimmage today. It seems a little more subdued than usual, but they’re getting the work in.

I think Frank or maybe Hunter High has the aux. The music is decidedly less bass-thumping than usual.

Abernathy ran into the visitor bullpen fence trying to catch a ball and hurt his elbow. Hopefully he’s not banged up too bad.

Hope to see some of y’all in Nashville Sunday. Need to let all of these guys know that Tony’s not the only one of them we turn out for. IMG_0636.jpeg

I’m sure these kids are happy for Tony, but I hope they don’t feel abandoned. It’s probably just me lol, I’m about to start crying again. It’s just all still so raw and surreal for me. I’m a baby.
Hopefully, there will be a huge turnout this Saturday in Nashville and support the team

No you’re not a baby. I have been depressed all f’n day. I’m happy for CTV, I guess, worried what White will do…on and on all day. I think it would be more weird to not be.

GBO!!!

Yeah we’re all in the same boat, and I guess that does bring me some comfort. Why I’ve been keeping up with the forum all day. I don’t even care about the KY game and I wasn’t that upset about the Bama loss either. This hurts more for me because this baseball team became my first love all because of Tony. He was the programs identity, and now it’s just gone. It’s like the love of your life left you for the hotter, richer guy and you feel like you’ll never love again. I realize what I just typed is utterly ridiculous lol but I can’t help it. 😆

No it’s not, find my post where I lay out the phases of a breakup that I’m going through...
😂
The baseball peeps have each other’s back right now.
We’ll pull through this.

To be honest, I’m not happy or glad for Coach V. The guy was a legend at UT, and had everything in his hands to continue the run for quite some time. Not to wish any bad will on him, but I don’t see the Giants having a chance in the NL West for a few years and owners have short memories.
