Who do we hire to take his place? Here are some possibilities:

John Morton-USCwest
Curt Cignetti-BAMA
Bobby Kennedy-TEXAS
Rob Ianello-ND
Lawrence Dawsey-FSU
Darell Hazell-tOSU
Kevin Daft-CAL
Tony Ball-UGA
Aubrey Hill-MIAMI
D.J. McCarthy-LSU

My vote is for D.J. McCarthy. They take our guy, we take theirs. Its that simple.
He is also responsible for their two WR commits Justin Hunter and Mike Davis.

My second choice would be either Cignetti or Kennedy.

I'm not worried about it at all. Kiffin will hire an outstanding replacement.

Don't forget -- Kiffin coached WR at USC. SO I think we will be fine!

McCarthy has taken an assistant coaching job at Memphis, following Larry Porter, according to ESPN. In addition to the allegations he paid players, no thanks.

What if he's just kinda gone, or semi gone, instead of really gone? Whatever level of gone hey may be, I hope we hire anyone but Trooper Taylor.

wow. i meant if it was evident or confirmed by multiple respected sources that he was gone. I dont trust espn.
