Have any of you been over to UTsports website and seen those Position Videos yet?

If you haven't check em out.

UTSports - Football

Just click on "Position History".

I was watching the Linebacking one, just thinking how awesome it would be to have Linebackers like the ones in the late 90's.

Is it just me or has UT been playing soft the last 5 years compared to the past?:cray:

Just wondering...:ermm:

From the title of the thread I thought this might be a kama sutra forum.

I don't know if playing soft describes it as well as playing slow. For UT that was a historical group of backers on a defense that was built around them. UT has lost speed at the position over the past 5 years, but I think they should be faster this year.

The Vols are going to have an awesome linebacking corps the next few years..

We definitely have the speed back this year in LB. Mayo and McCoy are some of the fastest I've seen. They hit hard too. We are pretty stacked at LB and that will be one of our strengths on D.
