you guys are hilarious B) Basically what she did was this: She had a really good friend that owned a company called IMCLONE ~ they were/are working on an anti-cancer drug. Martha was telling her group of investors (let's call them the Kitchen Groupies) to buy,buy,buy this stock..............well, her good friend (Imclone's CEO) told Martha that the cancer drug that they had worked so hard on was not going to be approved by the US FDA.......imagine what this would do to a stock. Well, Martha kept telling the Kitchen Groupies to buy,buy,buy that stock (which helped push the price up a little), but she was sell,sell,selling it................for a major profit. Her broker who commited the stock sales was found guilty as well due to knowing the same info. She wasn't ripping off big corporate executives, she ripped off 'the little people'................she won't get as much as she deserves ~ probably a slap on the wrist..........
