several people are saying this and considering that Pruitt himself was announced last year BEFORE Bama played their games, that really makes no sense.

Actually it makes perfect sense . Maybe CJP found being named HBC and still coaching at Bummer a distraction and felt like who he hired would be better suited to finish the job he is doing before dividing his time 50/50 between teams. Naming a new OC so close to the early signing day would not cause a tidal wave of de-commits from what ever school this person is at. I’m sure maybe one or two might, might consider following the coach to UT but flipping a kid off 2-3 years of recruiting is not an easy task.

I think he does know who wants. I dont think he wanted any negativity right at ESD. Because there is going to griping about whomever he hires from a few people. I guess we'll find out soon.

All said candidates (except Will) will take other jobs while Pruitt is taking his time conjugating over who is the best fit, therefore promoting his Friend Will. We look like the same exact offense next season and go 5-7, therefore putting Pruitt on the hot seat after year 2.

I think he does not have anyone. Will get on it after early signing period.if Pruitt wants the oc to run pruitt's offense it doen't really matter who he gets anyways. Like auburn is doing, just a name to run the offense he wants.
