Poll: Thursday Game

Panthers have a pre-season game at home on Thursday night so I would prefer a Saturday season opener for UT.

I'll be driving 7 hours to see it. I'm pretty excited because a lot of hotel options were suddenly available when they announced it. A little over 3 months and one week 'til football time in Knoxvegas!

Personally I enjoy Thursday night games and look forward to the Vols squashing App State. Also, keep in mind, it gives us a few extra days to get ready for Vergina Tech. :dance2:

I think it was a smart move. Nobody other than Tennessee fans would watch this game on the first CFB Saturday of this year.
With the game being Thursday it helps with that. Football fans everywhere looking for a CFB fix until their team's first game are more likely to watch.
