Flying one mission is the equivalent of sending advisers to Vietnam. These things invariably get out of control. If the plane has mechanical failure and the pilot has to eject….then what??? We have no business being involved in this.

Just because things got out of control in a previous situation don’t mean they will here.

I thought with Trump in office we wouldn't have to worry about wars? Now some are trying to justify WW3 on his watch.

Explain that to me. Let’s go absolute worst case. We literally put boots on the ground in Iran. How do we go from that to WW3?

And just because cake eaters draw up a plan doesn’t mean it will go the way they planned. I can point to previous operations in this exact country that went south without a shot being fired.

Cool. None of that says this would in any way expand further if we were to bomb one facility. The odds of the aircraft going down as you described are incredibly low.

The most notable military operation in our lifetime ended with 50% of the aircraft crashed on Bin Ladens porch. Again….Desert One…just saying….

I mean it wasn’t an option for them to have nuclear capabilities. Everytime they negotiated they were FOS. When they moved naval ships closer in and warned the public to evacuate that city everyone could see what was coming.

The key is not to engage in regime building. Had we taken out Saddam and left Iraq in 2003, no issues.

People will state that another dangerous regime may take over. If thst is the case, invade again, depose, and keep it going until thst nation figured out it's sh1t. Still would save money and lives versus placing troops there.

Agreed. I think we could eliminate the next 20 Iranian regimes and/or nuclear programs and it be cheaper than Iraq

Iranian Foreign Minister Confirms nuclear sites ‘seriously damaged’ by US strikes but vows to continue uranium enrichment: ‘We can never give it up’

Iran’s nuclear facilities were “seriously damaged” by US missile strikes last month but the regime intends to continue uranium enrichment efforts once they are rebuilt, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed Monday.

“Our facilities have been damaged, seriously damaged, the extent of which is now under evaluation,” Araghchi told Fox News “Special Report” host Bret Baier.

“The facilities have been destroyed,” he later acknowledged, noting that Iran hasn’t been able to refine nuclear fuel since President Trump ordered military strikes on three uranium enrichment sites on June 22.

After the interview aired, Trump took to Truth Social and demanded an apology from CNN, whom he claims doubted the effectiveness of the airstrikes.
