Maurer's first start was UGA which had a better D than this year's Bama D. Two weeks later coming off a head injury... he started vs a Bama D that was also better than this Bama D.

Someone else needs to start... this week.

This^ is common sense.....
No reason not to prepare for the FUTURE.
As stated before, JG has had too many opportunities.....

Don't disagree with you there. I'm curious why we didn't see Maurer on Saturday. Injury?

I hope that the 3 people who voted "no" only did that so JG could take the beating at Bama...because he is a tough dude and we do not want to scar a freshman/backup...

If there ARE actually still morons who think JG should be our starter for the rest of the season...well...please don't have kids. Seriously. It isnt fair to have kids who are that stupid when it could easily be avoided. See about getting neutered/spayed if you are somehow able to find someone willing to lay down with you, despite your obvious mental handicaps and poor judgment.

He should be,but not against bama. Bring in the backup whoever that is about the third series.

Just a guess... but I think that's probably right. Pruitt said something about Maurer missing time due to Covid and his hamstring and knowing what he needed to do.

I think they wanted to get HB some game time regardless.
