I had to the 2 times I went into Chicago to conduct business and the one time I needed to enter an office building.

Eventually, these fearmongers are going to make every indoor facility feel pressured to make masks/muzzles mandatory.

I see there is a consensus that most natural selection refugees should wear masks no matter what. Yall probably should wear helmets as well to protect yourself and others.

I saw an older guy.... at least in his 60’s..... and not very fit.... wearing a mask while riding a bike in Florida a couple of days ago. It was in the low 90’s and incredibly humid..... I couldn’t believe it.... this was on the highway too. When I walked from the condo to the beach and back I was drenched in sweat..... when I saw him the first thing I thought was “that’s a recipe for disaster”

My favorite is still the people I see riding alone in a car with a mask on. I’m all for putting on a mask, but please, just a little common sense.

I know.... I saw a guy alone in a convertible the other day. I wanted to laugh, but could only shake my head out of pity.

here's a question that apparently almost everyone is afraid to ask,because that would be politically incorrect. But is anyone else is concerned that there's someone or an bunch of someones out there is gonna use the mandate for nefarious purposes? Because i feel that all it does is emboldening bad folks to do bad things.

Of course they will , this is a blessing for all anarchists , thugs and people who just decide they want to act out knowing they can easily blend in with the crowd . Young people , we mostly all were at one time , are notoriously anti -rules , especially rules set up for large populations. Don’t you find it odd that so many young people are wearing masks because the government decrees it ? Not to mention hoodies in 80- 90 degree weather .

Here is one explanation for that. The other day I had to make 4 stops, all within a few minutes of each other. I had to run in Lowe's, then fill the car up with gas, then drop a return off at UPS and finally stop at Kroger for a few groceries. Rather than handle the mask multiple times after touching doors and gas pumps I leave it on til I'm done with my last stop. Anybody who saw me driving the 1/4 mile from Lowe's to the gas market, then the 1/2 mile to UPS and finally the 1/4 mile to Kroger with my mask on probably thought I was an idiot (and I may be). I do agree though that a person wearing a mask to protect themselves from the air in their own car is taking it a bit too far.

You ask for way too much... Unfortunately, that is my issue with these local politicians and their rules with regards to this virus. They don't exercise common sense either.

The vaccine. That is why it is important to stop the mask mandate in its tracks because the very next step will be mandatory vaccinations.

It's typical of politicians. They feel compelled to do something about any problem, no matter if what they decide to do has zero impact on the problem at all.

The higher the visibility the better. Masks and selective shut downs are a perfect example. That way they can say, "See, we did do something. Ain't we wonderful?" "Wear your mask." "Don't do drugs."
