Seen a lot of chatter about this. I think it's Hurley, no matter what happens tonight. 17-1 in last 18 tourney games in this day in age is so unreal

Interesting. You must put a very strong emphasis on “What have you done for me lately” which is fair enough. Though even in that department Few doesn’t look so hot (relatively to the other names)

I agree that Sampson and Painter are underrated coaches who deserve a lot more respect than they get, and Scheyer is a great coach as well-but I don’t understand how on earth you can rank them above Bill Self, who won a championship 5 years ago, versus their 0.

I chose Pitino despite Hurley’s amazing accomplishments. RP is a great coach (less than fantastic person, but aren’t we all?) and truth be told there’s no telling how many national championships he’d have if only he’d stayed at Kentucky instead of leaving for the NBA.

When I look at the players he's had and the players Sampson and Painter have had, I think they've done a better job coaching over the past 2-3 years. Right now, I'd take Sampson and Painter over Self if I were choosing a coach. If I were AD and had my choice of hires, I would probably go 1. Hurley, 2. Scheyer, 3. Golden

My pick also. I agree with all and would add that anytime he's on the floor as a coach, his team is going to make it a game.
