Poker 360 style

The only thing IGN said was wrong with it, was the chips players put in don't match bet amounts... Like they'll do a small raise then push their whole stack in, or make a huge call and just toss a few chips in.

Few things to fix, but it's probably still the best poker game out there.

How much is it? I'm not gonna buy it if it's a full-priced 360 game.

Didn't someone on here say it was terrible? Or was that a different poker game?

Activision's previous version of the game was terrible. The new one for the 360 is actually decent, if not good.
Thats about right, It would be cool to play with yall cause of voice and camera options. I could kinda meet ya...lol

Poker without real money....I guess it would still technically be poker. I just couldn't play it myself...I see no point.

What if they have online tournaments? Or if we could set one up, a VN tournament.

I guess it's all relative. A free-roll will almost never be played like a money game. Tournament or ring game, it's still free money so what do you care? Want to win? Sure. Playing the same game you would if lots of money was at stake? Not likely.

Each is poker, I wont deny that. I guess it's just not something I'm interested in. If others like it, cool. Doesn't hurt me a bit. Maybe I don't get enjoyment out of it because I was playing nightly for money for a few years when I was addicted (live and online).

Love live games to, but I play most every game the best I can or you will slowly loosen up and suck.

Not true for me or many of your opponents. Sure, I play well every time, but it's mainly in free-rolls and low limits that I'll try new things to see how the table reacts. This is where I experiement to some degree.

a k8 suited is more attractive under those conditions

I prefer live over online/video poker. Tight/Aggressive is my style, even in freerolls. Once I establish this image, I can get away with some pretty nasty bluffs =)

nah, I've mess around with Party, Pokerstars, UB, Full Tilt, etc. Can't get into video game poker. For me, the game is much more about playing the person than the cards. You gotta go live to do that =)

For some plays, true. For other plays, not so true. I think a lot of people miss out on how many tells and patterns can be figured out online. Then again, while I'm making money, I'm not going to point out things. Just think of it this way...if I can win consistantly and not see you, how lethal will I be if I can also see you and get twice as many tells?

AH, but it's a double edged sword for some! Those who play nearly exclusively online do get really good atreading the betting patterns. However, they tend to not be mindful of their own tells/body ticks/etc that can be seen plain as day to the seasoned live player. It's one thing to get away with a bold bluff online, but try that same move when your opponent is three feet away and staring a hole through you =)
