Watched the first two episodes. From the mind of Vince Gilligan (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul) so of course it is extremely well done and entertaining. I worry about the longevity of the storyline as these types of plots usually run out of steam quickly. Anyway Im game for it as Gilligan is the master of world building.

i liked the pilot, didn't think it was "the greatest in a decade" as Ive seen people say online.

I just appreciate the imagination of all that, and it's going to be hard to keep that going. If VG does, this will be an amazing show.

episode three was not good. everything I was afraid of is already coming to pass. Gilligan is a genius world builder with no world to build.

I like your takes and suggestions. Just finished 3. Can you redact your thoughts on this one? I didn’t hate it. I may be missing something cause I’m old. I think we still have a spoilers option

Now I am I guess unfairly judging against Gilligan's other shows but what I love about his work is the world he builds, the characters, their arcs, the conflicts, etc. The last episode, well absolutely nothing happens. There is no moving of the primary plot, no one is introduced, its just treading water in a shallow pool. I feel like he is doing this as some sort of challenge to himself and his love of Seahorn but for the first time ever I was bored watching a Gilligan show. He is painting himself into a corner. The next episode really needs to open up and introduce us to something that gets me excited again.

I am caught up on the show and while I like it, I have to echo that I worry about the longevity of the premise. So far it's good but I also feel like this is best suited for a limited series or at best capping it at 2 seasons. I don't know GIlligan's plans but unless something really game changer is introduced I feel like this is something that needs to have a definite shelf life.

My fear is this is going to be milked too long and is going to get into Lost territory but we'll see. For now it's great.

This is the same dude that made an entire Breaking Bad episode of the main characters trying to kill a fly.

I haven’t found confirmation yet but I’m pretty sure from the latest episode the message voice that she kept calling was Patrick Fabian aka Howard Hamlin. If true a nice bit of an easter egg.
