I’ve got a strange issue that has just recently come to light. The toilet in the bathroom at times won’t refill itself until I open the sink faucet. It also seems to mostly occur only late at night. Any ideas?
The "at times" part suggests a possible false correlation. Or maybe the fill valve is bad and hanging up and sometimes when you open the faucet the extra water movement in the line tickles it just enough to make it engage. I'm with TP, change the fill valve. It's easy and cheap anyway.
