We have had a great two weeks.

1st- we have beaten a team that we haven't beaten in 11 years. And, nobody picked us to win. They had the no.1 def. and they are better than the game they played against
Vandy.

2nd- we went into a hostile environment this last Saturday and won. Everyone was saying that the GA. game was a trap game and most people again said we would lose.
We took GA.'s best shot and came out victorious.

I'm tired of hearing people downplay what we have done the last two weeks. We are a team that's winning. And, while we are winning, we are gaining confidence and beginning to believe we can win it all.

Bring on TA&M. While people are saying we should worry about tam. Maybe they should be worrying about us.
Because, when we put it all together, we are a team that should be feared.

GO VOLS!!!
Let's beat these damn aggies!!!!

No doubt. Ask em if a 5-0 start would suffice. No........ We want it all now! Everything. National Championship or bust. The hell w butch! We should win convincingly every quarter. Whatever

I've not seen anyone downplaying the wins. Just another thread to bash negavols when your reason for doing so doesn't exist?

Honestly, for good reason. UT just hasn't looked very impressive for a full 60 minutes in any one game. I believe, but I can see why people wouldn't.

There are people on here that are just plain negative though and it's silly. Of course syou can post criticism and concerns, but holy crap...comments like "Texas A&M and Alabama are going to destroy us". If you believe this team is capable of getting "destroyed " after the games this season, you need your head checked.

Btw I'm not saying you've said any of these things! I'm just saying in general.

Saying "if we keep starting slow it's going to catch up with us" is fair and valid criticism.

Saying "There's no way we're going to win the next two games because we start slow" is just being a negative dumb you know what.

All about wording sometimes.

No everybody is happy with this team being 5-0. I'm giddy. I'll never take this feeling for granted being a Vol.

But, i think everyone agrees that this team has a lot of improving to do in order to reach its ceiling. Saying that we're lucky to not be 4-1 is just fact.

This had nothing to do with anyone on this board. Are some of you guys off your meds or something?

This has to do with the media and even some of our ex players that are on shows. Pissing on the fight, heart and resiliency of this team.

Now, go back to being miserable.

I just don't think that we should take A&M as lightly as some are on this board. They've earned the right to be in the top ten and by all indications are a good team.

Do I think we're gong to beat them? Hell yes, but only if they're taken seriously because they ARE a good team.

5-0 ain't nothin' man....we've won a couple o' game--koo....but we ain't beat NOBODY yet.....

our GOAL is not to be 5-0...but to WIN THE SEC...

And so far we ridin' on a wing and a prayer.....that does not a GOOD TEAM MAKE! :hi:

You can either understand that or you cannot....:salute:

If UT can go out and play 60 minutes on the road @ aTm then people will REALLY pay attention.

I didn't say we should take them lightly either but to not see the development of this team and the will to win by this team. Is being truly ignorant.

I think tam should be just as worried about us.

We are 5 and Freakin' 0 with the back half of our starting defense not playing.......

I thought this board was bad during off season and while we were losing, beginning to believe it's worse when we are winning......and WE ARE WINNING !!!!

I can assure you that anyone with half a brain is not taking TAMU lightly. Most importantly, Butch and team 120 are DEFINITELY not taking TAMU lightly.

But it does build confidence and if I'm not mistaken, tam will be finding out what kind of team they have also after this weekend. Because they've not really done any more than we have.

I thought you were talking about the media but knew what was about to happen. Funny part was, I almost nailed the exact order they would show up and be offended.
Could probably even guess who gave the likes to the confused, defensive dumbazzes.

For a little while. Then all of a sudden, TAMU will not be that good and then Alabama will be considered the real test.

Then if we beat Alabama, well the excuses will come. Well they have a true FR QB blah, blah, blah. We didnt get their best and they were not as good as everyone thought. I am getting the feeling team 120 is not going to get the respect it derseves. Even from its own fanbase.

I think this post is a perfect example of the point the OP is making.

we have beaten 3 top 25 teams and he says we haven't beaten anybody yet. It seems that anybody we beat isn't very good because we beat them. This is a pretty skewed way of looking at things and a lot of people have this broken way of thinking.

we have all heard the saying "I would rather be lucky than good" well we are both, lucky and good.

Ill take it and be Happy.

5-0 baby.
