A lot of that depends on whether Diamond and MR come back. If not, I'm guessing no higher than 4th in the SEC (behind SC, MSU, and Mizzou) and maybe the S16 or E8, depending on how reliable the freshmen prove to be.

Then we have a serious coaching problem if we cant beat the likes of a two star Msst with Vivians and Mccown and Mizzou. Now your right about if we lose MR . Green would have fo step up in a major way to play post and win in the physical SEC.

If Mercedes had any coaching at all she might be a star. As it stands, she is very mediocre and not really a factor against a top 25 team. It looks like Holly just throws some balls out on the floor and says " Okay, y'all go practice, we have a game this week."

I think you're selling her way short. MR dominated 2nd ranked Baylor and their impressive front line. To my recollection, she as also had big games against ND, SC, UK, Stanford and Missouri.

MR has been the most consistently good player all season.

Vic has done well with his collection of three star players. He has a strong returning nucleus of Vivians, Morgan Williams, Roshunda Johnson, and McCowan, along with some experienced guards. That will be strong enough to contend with a weak SEC.

If you are going to blame the players, who recruited them? Who promised to teach them the game at this level? The 40% of the blame you place on them does not remain there. It all leads back to the coaches. That is where the buck stops. It did with Pat. She made players accountable. Did they bury that with her?

Every PC with Holly sounds like an excuse festival. But until boosters give a damn, nothing will change.

Great comments TN native.... that 40% attributed to the players..... can be taken off and tacked on to the coach's responsibility.... because of course, who runs the program? Even things that seem like you can blame the players for, like effort, turnovers, foul shooting, missing bunnies, they are the responsibility of the coaches.... Coaches need to coaches to strengthen the strengths and improve the weaknesses.... and we have a coach that readily admits "I do not know what is wrong" .... I can think of many fundamental things we are not good at and need to work on.... i just wish our coaches would step up and demand something from their players .... kinda like Pat did

Really? Is that how you would like to be treated after giving a huge chunk of your life to an organization, be given a promotion in that org and trying your best only to fail because your not talented enough? Seriously.

well if I was paid $600m per year to produce results and failed, then I would be in agreement. she sucks

Watching the game last night was like hearing a thousand cats sliding down a chalkboard. With that said those girls didn't shoot good at all. To many bad percentage shots, air balls, and trying to push a rebound with two players while Louisville had four back is ridiculous. Back out and let your offense get down the floor and set up.

Last night's loss was 60/40, Holly/players. Fire away.

Agree 100 per cent

So we are to be ok with another loss to MsST with a roster of 5 star AAs with Nared and possibly 6'6 #1 recruit Russell. Sounds like a coaching problem.

Of course it's a coaching problem. Vic is just a better coach than Holly, and he's proved it the last two years. I don't expect Holly to all of a sudden become a better coach next year.
