Please my friends, I badly need some help

I hate admitting this here but I know there's lots of very smart people here so I'm grasping at straws for some help.

I'll soon be 65 and my Social Security disability is ending and that combined with my small VA disability is only about $600. a month and we barely survive on that.

I'm badly needing to talk with a attorney or a expert on Social Security to try to help me figure out what I can do to try to find a way to survive because I'm Diabetic and I'm going to lose my healthcare too.

They just mailed me my Medicare card but I can't afford to pay my bills after my Disability is stopped much less pay for a Medicare insurance policy to pay what Medicare won't pay.

If anyone here is a attorney or a expert on these things and is willing to try to help me then please contact me.

Hey Titan & Vol...

Congratulations on reaching the magic number 65. Your disability will end but your Social Security will also kick in for you. Medicare has options that will help because these medicare plans come with no monthly premium. That's right they won't cost you anything. And with your income, you will certainly qualify for your state Medicaid assistance which will further enhance your medicare plan. You don't want to stay with regular medicare--you need a "DUAL ELIGIBLE" Medicare plan (it will include a free drug plan) and your co-pays will be picked up by the state medicaid. Find a friend who is in the Medicare insurance business. He/she will be glad to assist you and besides helping you, they will be paid for it!

Thanks my friend, I plan to talk with the American Legion and see if they can point me in a direction that will help.

My main problem is trying to find some help with the Social Security Admin.
