I read where they may start a 3rd stringer next game. NO!!!What I saw yesterday(and all year), it can't be any worse. We have a week off. Enough time to learn a few plays. He was qb in high school with a 37-5 record, 2 state championships,he has scrambling ability, he would smack anyone that dropped the ball in their gut. Let him qb the remainder of the year and see if he can be another Tee Martin. Why not. We are in unchartered waters with UT football and it is so pass time to pull out all the stops. If you agree, let me know.

I'd be afraid of getting him killed behind that o-line.

Shut up. You just want Rod Wilks in over Coleman.

Has there been any official word on why they totally abandoned the idea of the G-Gun? I know it wasn't very successful that one game (Florida?), but none of our other QB options have either.

I remember it being posted on here that Gerald Jones was joking around after a game that he wasn't supposed to pass on one of his G-Guns, but he did anyway. That laughter about not performing the play as called may have got him cut from the game plan. I have not idea...but could be an explanation.

I think they should put Gerald Jones as QB, someone who is already on the offensive side of the fball kind of like what UK did w. Randall Cobb...EB would be too tired to play both sides of the ball the whole game

After a couple of Crapton's series, we started talking about that in the stands. I don't see anyway that Jones can be any worse. At worst, he tucks it and runs.

I wouldn't be against running it 50 times a game. Wyoming never would have scored yesterday. (yes, I know VU and UK are no Wyoming)

usually i wouldn't have a problem with berry on offense. but with only 2 games left and nothing really left to play for, there's no way i let berry line up under center for a whole game.

With all of the Alumni stuff going on yesterday, I was calling for an Alumni QB. It was enough to lighten the mood a little around me.

didn't lucas taylor throw a good pass to coker last year against georgia...

or am i way off?

Lucas Taylor threw a TD pass in the Florida game two years ago and in the Georgia game last year. But, it was on a trick play...he would not be a realistic consideration as starting QB.

He played QB in high school. At this point I wouldn't criticize if they decided to give him a shot. Maybe he can help his draft status out a tad with the "Slash" factor.

Watching the Phil Fulmer show, they didn't even show Nick Stephens' first INT. That bothers me.

Why wouldn't you give Coleman a shot before your WR? I would think that taking one of your better WRs out of that position would be less than ideal. I understand your point of, at this point - why don't we see what he can do. In a G-gun type situation..sure, let's see it. But, I don't think that he is as allusive as Gerald.

I wouldn't criticize giving anyone not named Crompton and Stephens a shot. If they asked me to suit up, I'd consider it.
