Volnation, I’ve lurked for years , posted occasionally and enjoyed your posts immensely. Today I’m posting my first thread ever (some of you may roast me for a “useless” thread! That’s ok!!) This Saturday we have one final opportunity this season to say thank you to these young men! Thank you for your efforts in spite of adversity , disappointment and early failure. They could’ve quit, they didn’t! Thank you players and coaches for being “all vol” and bringing us joy and excitement again.

My son has begged and pleaded to attend this Saturday in spite of the threat of bad weather, for one reason.. WE DESPISE VANDY!!!!! I’m a Pastor , and I’m not supposed to hate anyone ... but Vandy .... Lord help me!!!!

I just want to say , I’m in, and encourage you to join us !!! Let’s fill our stadium , let’s cheer on our boys and let’s celebrate when we curb stomp Vandy!!!! Let’s go !!!!! Let the rain wash away all the pain of yesterday and let’s let those clowns from Nashville know that big brother is back!!!!

Come on Volnation let’s rise up !!!! When we hand Vandy their hind ends, we will all know , the nation will know, that Tennessee football has risen!!!!! Whose in ?!?! See you there !!!!

I'm in. I will be there with someone in tow. I just have to find someone tough enough to go rain or shine. Not sure my Grandson can hang in there just yet.

I was on VN years ago under another name and I too am just starting to get back reading posts and such but agree 100% with your post Pastor. My family and I are making the long trip up from Wayne County. My wife and I, my two grown children with their respective spouses and my two Grandchildren plus I'm bringing my 16 year old nephew for his first trip to Neyland. We're praying for good weather but it doesn't matter as long as we see our VOLS !! God Bless our men in ORANGE and safe travels to all the fans.....GBO !!!!

My wife and I will be there. In the dry, upper deck. Needs to be the loudest TN/Vandy game in history. We've got a lot of payback to dish out and an opposing coach that needs to be reminded of who we are!
Everyone, change your plans, send the seniors out in style, impress recruits, reinforce to the college football world that we were down but, never out. We've come back swinging and now it's with bad intentions. Most of all, have a great day, enjoy the "electricity" only Neyland can give. Might not be a better drug on earth. Woooo!!!

I still can't believe how loud that place was, as empty as it was.
I went with my wife, a good friend of mine I grew up with that attended SC (he's been to a few Florida games with me) and a SC friend of his that had never been to Neyland.

The guy that had never been looked at us after JG hit Jennings in the endzone and said "man that was loud" my friend chuckled and said, "imagine if there were 15 to 20k more people in here screaming"
