Winner Winner Chicken DinnerI would say it has more to do with teams creating a game plan that is effective for one half and then CBS adjusts his defense to disrupt their game plan and other offensive coaches simply can't adapt in the second half. He probably starts off very vanilla to see what other coaches are planning on implementing and he is very good at adjusting.
I honestly think Shoop is a genius and it takes him a few drives to process what's going to work best. I'm not kidding lol. The dude has an Ivy League degree!
That's a good call! I've been thinking the same thing. If the O is ran correctly we will be very hard to stopDuring the Florida game CBS showed Shoop and Debord sitting next to each other. Shoop is obviously great with defensive adjustments. Is there any possibilities that Shoop is picking up on the opposing teams defensive tendencies as well? And passing that over to Debord for play calling purposes. That might explain some of the offensive adjustments this year as well.
so good with the 2nd half adjustments yet the D continues to start so slowly each game? Pregame planning can't be more difficult than on the fly adjustments during the game? I can't arrive at a reasonable explanation as to why the D struggles out of the gate.
