Almost Missed 2nd? Hell, he MISSED HOME PLATE hahaha.I guess the complainer didn’t see the Ole Miss dude who hit the 3 run HR Sunday. He almost missed second based yelling back at his teammates.
It’s how they play college baseball these days. Ole men need to watch reruns if they don’t like it. I’m 65 and I think it’s fine.
Teams might think twice knowing the payback could come from Joyce, who has just enough lack of control so you're not completely sure he intended to.....
I think Gibby is a whack job, crazy kid. But he’s our whack job.I take issue with the Joyce lacks just enough control statement. If Joyce was directed to hit him, he could. If they asked him to brush the batter back, he could. But he has control, and for a guy that regularly throws 99-103, he has fantastic control.
8.2 innings
He's faced about 32 batters (I don't have the exact number)
0.00 ERA
3 walks (one of which was issued by the ump that took it in the face and registered a concussion)
1 HBP
14 Strikeouts
I don't think Joyce lacks control...
As for Gilbert? I hear the stuff he does is completely made up and an "Homage to the baseball Gods" (which fits his on field wacky personage)
Shhhh! Have you not watched Major League? Everybody knows if you can top 100 mph you don’t have control. We want everybody to stand in there taking pitches thinking he can’t throw 3 strikes before 4 ballsI take issue with the Joyce lacks just enough control statement.
