Please don’t hire anymore Alabama assistants!

Definitely no point in it if you have to play Saban. Hopefully he retires before he's 50-0 against them.

Their players were better than ours. Not on coaching, not on scheming, not on QB'ing...they just had better players. Border state teams like Tn, Ky, Vandy, MO will always fight this battle (losing)

That’s ridiculous. They do have better players, but also better coaches, better game plans, and better QB play

...and your next line of coaching hires will suck just as bad as the last five. Think man, it's not the coaches. Pruitt was a star at Alabama

Yet Alabama keeps on rolling and Pruitt looks lost.
So, pony up 25 mil and hire Saban. Who else is beating him and every other Alabubba booster with a 401K to cash in. These fellers need cars.

I seriously don't see why you couldn't offer him like 13 million or something You'd easily make the money back tenfold the first year alone.

Yeah. No. I guess he was a figure head at UGA and FSU too.

Pruitt is a very good defensive coordinator but it takes more than to "know football" to be successful HC.

It helped that FSU, Georgia, and Bama had top 5 talent and NFL players all over

Well they all look really good coaching Nick's players. Mostly because most of those guys will play on Sundays. They owe Saban a debt of gratitude for getting them high paying jobs to milk before they do a big belly flop. Then they can return to Bama and get in Nick's rehab clinic for fired coaches. I suspect he gets them back to steal signals and not have to watch too much film on those teams. He is buddies with Belicheat after all.

Saban not only has a “process” but also a culture of excellence. Alabama is used to winning and everyone from the administration to the 4th string walkon knows what is expected.

You’re right about the talent. I think He’s still learning about being a head coach and I think that he’s trying to will his way, his brand of football on to the team because it is proven method to win games when you have the right talent, the right guys etc, etc ... However, if you don’t have the right guys it can be a very flawed process and I think we’re seeing that unfold right in front of our face. Obviously, I don’t know what’s happening behind the scenes with this staff, but it seems like some changes need to be made from a chemistry standpoint.

I know people will disagree with that premise, but that’s what I believe. Jeremy Pruitt is an incredible football mind and nearly everyone he’s been around, players and coaches alike tend to agree with that. He’s a much better X’s and O’s coach than the previous 2 ( I honestly don’t know how some want to make the argument that he isn’t, unless of course they themselves don’t understand the game, which is the case more times than not ).
